June 2024 Monthly Check In

Watching: Lots of Spring '24 anime! We're more than halfway through the season now and I'm still keeping up weekly with Bartender, My Hero Academia S7, Kaiju No.8, Demon Slayer S4, Spice and Wolf, and Windbreaker. Of course the big names have been amazing as you would expect, but Windbreaker has surprised me with how good it's been!

Playing: I recently finished a second playthrough of Elden Ring in preparation for the DLC this month which I am so excited for! The trailer makes it look like the wait will have been worth it. But until then I'm cooling off that intensity with lots of Stardew Valley and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I've been so excited for this remake because I enjoyed playing the original so much.

Reading: Reading: My current read is A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen. I'm about halfway through and really enjoying the story and characters so far! I like to cycle through a few series at a time instead of binging an entire series back to back, so after this I'll be going back for ACOSF (A Court of Thorns and Roses series) and then The Queen of Nothing (Folk of the Air series). You can follow me on Goodreads here

Relaxing Image

Relaxing: It's officially summer weather at QC headquarters so I'm spending a lot of time at my pool reading, listening to music, grilling, and swimming! I also just attended MomoCon in Atlanta which was fun. I love attending panels, checking out everyone's cosplay, and wandering the Artist Alley.

Planning: More designs! As Quiet Cosplay becomes more established I hope to be able to drop entire collections at a time. But for now I'm designing, digitizing, testing, and dropping whatever I'm able to. I do everything in house so this process can take a while. I have so many plans in my mind that it's hard to choose where to start right now! But definitely more anime, video game, and bookish inspired designs will be hitting the site soon and I'm so excited to share them with you!
